When you become an adult, among the things that you will have to juggle includes a full-tome job, children, exercise, friendship and a healthy relationship with your better half and this will not be easy. There are those people that you see put there who are so organize you wonder how they do it and the truth is that this is not something that they were not born with. When you learn the art of juggling the adult responsibilities and the daily routines that you actually have then you will be left with more alone time. To start with, there are a few basics that you will need to pin down as any Life Skill Instructor will tell you.
From the play dates of the children to the dates with the friend, a big part of being an adult is actually remembering all the dates. Save the b dates and the events on the phone calendar or even diarize them, anything, as long as you actually write them down. The things that you are supposed to remember, write to the daily activities that you are supposed to remember like getting the groceries, write them somewhere and stick them on a place that you will see. Make a list in the morning and then tick off the things that you do so that you can know whether the schedule timing that you have is actually working.
On top of the listing, make sure that you schedule your alone time because it is as important as any other time. I know that you have a lot to do in 24 hours but your time should be among them. DE clutter your life like doing away with the things that we do not need any more is one way that you will be able to enjoy what you have without the distractions. There is no need of you renting a storage unit for the things that you do not actually need.
Being able to stick to the plans that you committed to is one way of showing that you are responsible as an adult. There is no problem with saying if you cannot make it, which is better than making excuses. This will shoe responsibility and the fact that you know where your priorities lies. Last but not least, be consistence and hence reliable because this is what organized adults do. Being consistence when it comes to punctuality, meeting deadlines and following through commitment is a way of showing responsibility and that you care about other people’s time. It shows irresponsibility and all sort of negative things when you are an adults and you do not have regard for the other people’s time and that is why you should avoid being that person by being organized.
